Experience 15 to 20 minutes of freedom in the air. Ideal for beginners or anyone who wants to experience the alpine world up close. If we have time you can upgrade during the flight to the Dragon, if you want to fly longer.
Fly for 15 to 40 minutes like an eagle and use the thermals to enjoy the Alps from a bird’s-eye view. Perfect for those who want to stay in the air longer.
With 30 to 50 minutes of flight time, you’ll experience the maximum freedom. If we cannot achieve the guaranteed 30 minutes, we’ll refund the difference to the Bergdohle flight price.
The Storm & Cloud Crow is not directly bookable but serves as our exclusive alternative when flights from Mount Pilatus are not
possible.
This program ensures that you still get to experience an incredible tandem flight, even if conditions require a change in location.
Instead of canceling, we relocate to other fantastic flying spots, most often the Engelberg Valley or Niederbauen, where conditions are sometimes more favorable. This flexibility allows us to offer you an unforgettable experience, even when the weather at Pilatus isn’t ideal.
Additionally, Storm & Cloud Crow flights can take place later in the evening, as certain mountain cable cars remain open longer, giving us extended flying opportunities. The flight duration ranges between 8 and 30 minutes, depending on the conditions.
If a switch to the Storm & Cloud Crow option becomes necessary, our team will inform you in advance. Any price difference compared to the Pilatus flights will be fully refunded.
The Steinbock Safari is an unforgettable adventure that combines a scenic hike along the Pilatus ridge with the thrill of paragliding – a true alpine experience.
We take the cable car up to Mount Pilatus and, only if wind conditions are suitable, embark on a 2 to 3-hour hike along the breathtaking Pilatus ridge, passing Tomlishorn and reaching Widderfeld. This route is famous for its high chance of spotting Alpine ibex (Steinböcke), making the journey just as exciting as the flight itself.
The hike requires good footing and surefootedness, as there are two to three exposed sections along the ridge where careful movement is necessary. However, the effort is well worth it for the incredible views and unique experience.
At Widderfeld, we take off and glide effortlessly towards Kriens, saving an 1600-meter descent or avoiding the 2.5-hour return hike that hikers without a paraglider would have to endure. Along the way, we can enjoy a relaxing picnic with stunning mountain views, making this adventure not just about flying, but also about truly immersing yourself in the beauty of the Alps.
And if we’re lucky, Wiedersfeld can be the absolute perfect spot for thermal flying. When conditions align, we can extend our flight up to an hour, soaring high above the mountains and enjoying breathtaking panoramic views.
This experience is perfect for adventure seekers who want to combine mountain exploration, wildlife spotting, and the unmatched freedom of paragliding.

Explore the Alps on longer flights, e.g., from Pilatus to Interlaken. Alternatively, you can book a full-day package for CHF 850. This includes all flights and photos taken on that day. On good days with optimal conditions, up to five flights from Pilatus are possible.
